Permanent Fix for icons Disappearing on 8.4.1 Jailbreak!
We previously posted a temporary workaround for the patch problems on 3uTools blogger, now permanent method is here which comes in a few minor steps!
Requirements: MTerminal
- By now all people with cydia working on 8.4.1 should receive a update from tihmstar on his Etason Untether package
- Update it and also update Patchy to the latest version ( if you did that downgrade trick to fix the problem ) which is 1.2.0
- After updating everything you should see all your icons disappear - good - your almost done
- Now you need to reboot - not respring - just reboot
- If you do not have MTerminal installed already - go ahead and install it from Cydia
- Open terminal and type this command - uicache
- After typing it - press enter and let the terminal do its stuff
- Wait for the prompt to return and then it will be done ( it may take a couple minutes ) and then go to homescreen and you will see all icons are there now
- And finally reboot last time
- And now your all done and you have the Etason Untethered for 8.4.1 jailbreak fully working
